Dear all,
A very warm welcome to the first issue for 2013.
This issue has focussed on exploring topical and diverse areas of law ranging from how evidence can be used as a trial tactic, analysis of various bills being currently debated in Parliament such as the Competition Act (Amendment) Bill, Food Security Bill and the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Bill, strategies to be kept in mind for IP Enforcement, analysis of the recent Sahara-SEBI judgement, challenges that face the LPO industry in India, disparaging advertisements in the media industry, whether there exists any right to recall elected representatives and the concept of abuse of dominance with a focus on the recent BCCI-CCI matter.
The interview of the month deals with setting various key issues and challenges that are currently facing the Indian aviation industry which is one of the world’s fastest growing aviation markets while the book review gives a detailed account of the regulatory framework on surrogacy across different countries.
