Opening Address

Dear Friends,

A very warm welcome to the 1^st issue of ILJ for 2012.

This issue focuses on important legal issues like a recent judgment delivered by the Delhi High Court on pendent lite interest, business immigration to Germany by Non-EU Citizens and access to patented medicines in the pharmaceutical industry.

The interview of the month deals with various challenges that lie before women lawyers in India and this issue also covers a special story on the recent Madras High Court ruling permitting foreign lawyers to fly in and out of India.

I wish to express my sincere thanks to all those who have extended their unflinching support for the launch of India Law Journal, particularly our esteemed Board of Editors and the Editorial Team.
