Opening Address

Dear Friends,

A very warm welcome to the 4^th issue of ILJ for 2011.

This issue focuses on important legal issues like the FCCBs, interpretation by the Supreme Court of India on the choice of SIAC Rules as exclusion to the applicability of Part I of the Indian Arbitration Act, whether an effective Public Procurement Policy is the need of the hour, amended FDI Policy on Options in Equity Instruments and whether India needs to enact a legislation on ambush marketing.

The interview of the month deals with various challenges that lie before the Indian legal sector. I would like to thank Luthra & Luthra Law Offices for providing us with the competition law updates from January till September, 2011.
